At USA South we understand the club fees and travel assessments are a concern to all our athletes and families. We do our best to keep our fees to a level comparable to clubs who are offering the same level of service and training. Beginning with the 2009 Club season we are going to initiate activities to assist and help athletes earn deductions from their club fees through fundraising opportunities and also assist the families in needs with a scholarship fund. Below you will find a payment schedule for both club fees and travel assessments. Every effort will be made to assist each student athlete who desires to participate and has the necessary skills set and attitude to compete at the level set for USA South Volleyball Club. While we can not guarantee the availability of scholarship or other opportunities to mitigate the costs for the program, it is our objective to do what is possible so that financial means is not a deterrent to participation. Club Fee Payment Options: Option 1: Pay in full the first week of Dec with check or Credit Card. Option 2: Pay 1/2 the first week of Dec & 1/2 the first week of Jan with Check or CC Option 3: Pay 1/3 the first week of Dec, 1/3 the first week of Jan and 1/3 the first week of Feb. This program is only available if paying with Credit Card. A deposit of $500 will be required from each athlete at the "Meet the Team Night". Travel Assessment: All athletes will receive a detailed invoice at the beginning of each month for their travel expenses. Each player will have 10 days to pay for those online through paypal or in person. On the 12th day of each month credit cards will be charged for any unpaid invoices. Athletes will not be billed for any additional monies without notification from the club. Fundraising and Scholarships: USA South is going to offer all athletes an opportunity to participate in a fundraiser which each athlete can raise money to help reduce the cost of participating in club volleyball. All money earned by that athlete will be deducted from the Club Fees for that athlete. For more information on the fundraiser please visit the USA South website. USA South will provide an exclusive opportunity for 8 businesses to be the sponsors of the USA South Scholarship Program. Theses sponsors will receive advertisement in all areas of the program. All funds will be used to assist athlete's in financial need who wish to play for USA South be cannot afford to pay all the Club Fees. Please visit the USA South website for more details. |
